Please consider adopting an older dog from a local shelter. They are generally already housebroken and  have  usually been trained.These dogs have been evaluated for  behavior and personality and  are usually good with children and other dogs. Imagine sitting your life in a cage. Wishing for someone out there to love and protect them. And all they will ask for in return is to be able to love and protect them back.
